Our mission statement
To attain the foundation’s goals, save our nature has initiated the production of media projects that tackle environmental protection and sustainability at the hands of a theme.
Our approach: We want to reach as many people as possible and touch their hearts. The entertaining and emotional approach to topics on environmental protection and sustainability, and their dissemination via topical and contemporary media such as film and the internet is conducive to reaching a wide spectrum of the population.
This approach allows save our nature to combine the all important social, political and economic topics of environmental and climate protection, as well as sustainability, with film, entertainment, education and culture in a unique manner.
What emerges from this is a unique network of attractive and contemporary media, which have one goal in mind: To create an awareness among as many people as possible on the subjects of sustainability, environmental and climate protection and to encourage them to become involved proactively themselves: Even the smallest contribution can play a big role towards moving mountains.
save our nature specially produces films for schools and other institutions of learning and makes these available free of charge together with printed materials.
save our nature initiates the production of films, which deal with topical issues when it comes to environmental protection and sustainability.
save our nature is the initiator of the environmental community savemynature, which spreads knowledge on environmental topics and which is intended to encourage its members to engage in the active exchange of ideas, discussion and action.
Additionally the foundation initiates digital interactive projects e.g. SocialGames on the topic of sustainability.
save our nature is a member of the German Association of Foundations and pledges abidance by the “Principles of best practice governing foundations”.
